Experience

Dendron’s experience is primarily a mix of laboratory, research, tutoring, teaching, and workshop facilitation roles. This reflects Dendron’s twin loves for both scientific exploration and helping others learn.

Dendron began working in labs in 2016. Since 2025, Dendron has been working in a knee cartilage tissue engineering and regenerative medicine lab at University of Oregon’s Knight Campus (Lindberg Lab) as a graduate student researcher.

In 2009, Dendron began speaking on panels, giving talks, facilitating workshops, and tutoring math and science. Now, Dendron facilitates workshops for Lavender Pi. These range from a hands-on workshop for participants to develop gender neutral language skills in English, to practical training designed for medical professionals and trainees who may encounter transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse patients.
